We finally got a doctor to acknowledge that my thyroid was too low, and while the bumpy journey of medication continues, I have had more energy at times, and been able to do some of the things I had planned. The other things, like updating my web site and putting out new patterns, will hopefully become possible in the new year.
Gardiner's Company, the Elizabethan group we belong to, has been offered a splendid project by the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation, to create some things which I will be blogging on in the new year as well - I'll write more about it when we get final approval on the designs. It's a huge honour to be asked, and we're all very excited.
I want to get going on a couple of books I've had on my to-do list for a number of years now, and fingers crossed, I'll have the physical wherewithal to set to work. In the new publishing climate, self-publishing is a breeze, so it's really only the writing standing in my way (only!).
I have no New Year's resolutions, but a bunch of plans. And a wish for everyone to have a great year ahead.
I love you all.
