Jacket Progress

Hey there!

I've been hella busy (does anyone still use that phrase any more?) writing for work and for University, so I haven't exactly been raring to write here.

However, the first jacket piece has complete fill.  I finished out the piece I started testing the gold on, and now it just needs the gold, GST, and spangles.  The fill, she is done.

128 hours:

Next, I'm going to fill the fiddly bits - the gussets and shoulder wings.  Then I'll go back to the arm pieces - I'll do the other under arm piece next, so my sewing smooths out even more before I do the pieces that will be more visible.

BTW, we saw Legion last night - awesomely cheesy, great fun.  I really enjoyed it - no thinking required at all, and a great combination of hilarity, horror, fighting, guns, and cheesy acting in the best possible way.  I can't wait for the DVD to come out so I can "review" it for you guys.
