I'm typing this on Bob's laptop, since we're down at the farm all this week -
-and I don't think I told anyone. We're getting ready for the Gardiner's event this Saturday (pleasedontrainpleasedontrain), so we're doing minor house and land stuff and taking the week because we can.
It's been pretty nice so far, even though it's been raining (it's sunny and warm today), since I did some antiquing on the way down and found a pretty hard-to-find book for Bob's collection, and the three winning scratch off tickets I bought in Orange totalled roughly $250. The doll house is starting to look really good (I promise pictures when I get back - the laptop is a little slow loading), and should be mostly put together by the end of the week.
I'll be canning blackberry and persimmon jam this week, too. And, of course, working on the jacket. I'm almost finished outlining the first body piece.
I'm sure I'm jinxing the rest of the week, but right now, life is pretty damn good.
