training.

Emergency preparedness training (mandatory) is only made bearable by pretending it's related to a zombie outbreak.

I had zombie nightmares last night. Maybe the revolution is closer than we think.

Alas, it is on-line, so I'm just mumbling them to myself.

If it's anything like my somewhat recent first aid training, I soooo understand- the entire two-day course consisted primarily of "call 911." It didn't help that half the class could barely understand English and had trouble getting even that right, sigh. (and don't even get me started on the fact that the instructions for calling 911 were completely wrong, grrr) CPR training was a joke because they didn't understand the concept of 'push hard, push fast'- I could even hear the gasps when I did it properly during our small groups practice time.
That was so NOT my idea of a great way to spend an entire weekend and over $100.

I wonder if I can get that worked into our next emergency preparedness training...we've done "flood" and "crazed gunman" already.

I think the real question there is do I want to defend myself against a man bearing gifts of fruit? Because I can think of instances where I might elect not to...

Bwahahahah!

Hey, while I'm considering these things, would you mind when you get a bit reminding me of both your hair dye and fake nails brands? Many thanks.

Clearly you should call these folks and have them show up to your training to give a class...

Aw, I wish I'd seen this before our fire drill today! It would have made marching outside in the cold and damp much more entertaining.

Funny - that's how I got through my CERT course [Community Emergency Response Training] a couple of years ago...
