One more before I get back to outlining...

This is what the overall frame with the pomegranate and daffodil look like right now:

I've filled in a couple of smaller leaves - you can see how I'm using straight and curved lines for the smaller parts, and a simpler fill for the front of the leaves here:

(You can also see where I'm inking in the lines before I sew, because they're freehand, and I want them to look even.)

I'll come back to it as I feel like it, and update accordingly.

Have a good weekend everyone - for those going to Atlantian Coronation, I'll be there.

This.
I have a vision of a Mobb of women in simple dresses holding spindles and needles at guard and saying "Give us the jacket and no one gets hurt..."

What about the stems? I had thought stem stitch, but they seem thicker than that ...

I can't wait to see the finished jacket! Just this little bit is so amazing.

The stems are reverse chain stitch. :)

Re: jacket
I used a round "cobweb" stitch for the berries, a detatched buttonhole for the gold fill, and ceylon stitch for the centers of the daffodil. :)
