Tiny voices

I haven't disappeared into the ether, yet.

I have 15 or so projects currently running (and about 20 more in the wings), and being tired all the time has done me no service in the completion of these projects, which are starting to whine at me every time I choose to work on one of the others.

Talking to me.  Telling me to kill work.

Um.. I'd better get back to them.

Grab an unfinished project, any unfinished project, and work on it. If the tiny voices start whining tell them to stuff it! If one of them asks sweetly and politely to be worked on, and you're in the mood to work on that one rather than the one currently in your hands, then reward it by working on it.

Or lay out all the unfinished projects and grab the one closest to being done and work on that and only that until it is done - and threaten the whiners with a lighter.

I quite understand about feeling overwhelmed with All The Projects. You wind up working on none of them, which is also depressing.

Oh I soo recognize the feeling. Especially the part about getting depressed by all the projects demanding your attention and not getting anything done. I try to be happy about every little stitch I actually manage. But it is hard.
